U24 Extraleague: Surprise in Wrocław. The last round will determine the finalists
21.08.2024 11:25In the penultimate round of the U24 Extraleague games, the young athletes competed on tracks in Wrocław, Zielona Góra, Częstochowa, and Lublin. The last round will decide who makes it to the grand final – everything is still to be decided after last Tuesday’s results.
U24 BECKHOFF SPARTA Wrocław – POLCOPPER AGROMIX UNIA Leszno 37:53
The highlight of the round, which was played on the track in Wrocław, ended with an unexpected victory for the team from Leszno. The guests controlled the course of the match from the beginning, with Damian Ratajczak (13+1) leading the visiting team. For the home team, Francis Gusts (13) performed excellently. Thanks to this win, POLCOPPER AGROMIX UNIA still has a chance to advance to the final. Everything will be decided in the last round, where the team from Leszno will face FALUBAZ Zielona Góra. The aggregate score is 79:101.

FALUBAZ Zielona Góra – KS Toruń 55:35
The match in Zielona Góra ended with a high victory for the home team. They practically controlled the course of the match from the very beginning. The third series of starts by the home team was particularly spectacular. Oskar Hurysz (14+1), Michał Curzytek (14+1), and Krzysztof Sadurski (14+1) performed well for FALUBAZ. Wiktor Lampart (8) defended the honor of the team from Toruń. The aggregate score is 105:74.

Despite a balanced initial phase, the team from Gorzów gradually took control of the match and, after the thirteenth race of the day, could celebrate victory.
