U24 Extraleague: second final for the club from Gorzów within reach. Derby for KS Toruń

The 16th round of the U24 Extraleague ended, with matches held in Gorzów, Toruń, Częstochowa, and Krosno. This time, POLCOPPER AGROMIX UNIA Leszno took a break from riding.

The team ENEA STAL Gorzów grabbed all the points, defeating the MOTOR Lublin 53:37 on their home track. Thanks to this, the team from Gorzów jumped to 2nd place in the standings and joined the fight for the U24 Extraleague final. The top scoring riders for the home team were Villads Nagel (10) and Oskar Paluch (10). Among the youth riders from Lublin, the highest scorer was Anze Grmek (13+1).

In the derby clash between KS Toruń and GRUDZIĄDZKIE MEBELKI GKM Grudziądz, the students of Piotr Baron once again proved to be better. The home team defeated the visitors 47:43, thereby adding another three-point win to their tally. Wiktor Lampart had an outstanding performance, finishing the competition with 13 points and one bonus.

The 13-point advantage gained by the team from Częstochowa in the first match against the team from Zielona Góra proved futile. The rematch ended with a high victory for FALUBAZ. The visitors not only made up for the lost points but also took the lead in the match, eventually defeating IMPAKT WŁÓKNIARZ Częstochowa 56:34. A paid full house was earned this evening by Michał Curzytek (14+1).

The match in Krosno ended with a victory for U24 BECKHOFF SPARTA Wrocław 48:42, who recently climbed to the top of the youth training leagues. The victory at Legionów 1 allowed the Wrocław club’s players to increase their lead over their opponents in the standings. The fans who came to the stadium had a chance to watch good performances by Daniils Kolodinskis (12+1), Jakub Krawczyk (13), and Mikkel Andersen (12+1).
