Szymon Woźniak appointed captain of ABRAMCZYK POLONIA Bydgoszcz

After an intense season of METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga, it was time for summaries in Bydgoszcz. The club organized a special gala in Żnin where it was announced that the captain of ABRAMCZYK POLONIA in 2025 will be Szymon Woźniak.

– I am extremely pleased to announce that I have been chosen as the team captain. Thank you for the trust and faith in my abilities – it’s a great honor and motivation for me to act! We have great challenges ahead of us, but I am sure that together we will achieve a lot. Let’s go! – wrote Szymon Woźniak on social media.

The Individual Polish Champion from 2017 returns to his home club after a nine-season break. Woźniak parted ways with Bydgoszcz in 2015. He then represented BETARD SPARTA Wrocław for two years, after which he moved to EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów, where he spent the next seven seasons.
