Szczakiele 2024. Voting by fans has started. PGE Ekstraliga Gala on October 11 (broadcast on CANAL+ Sport and CANAL+ online)

The jubilee, 10th voting as part of Szczakiele – PGE Ekstraliga awards summarizing the season of the best speedway league in the world has begun. Meanwhile, on October 11, the Ekstraliga Speedway awards will go to the hands of players and coaches. The PGE Ekstraliga Gala will then take place (broadcast from 20:00 on CANAL+ Sport and CANAL+ online service).

During the PGE Ekstraliga Gala summarizing the season, as every year, we will get to know the heroes of the 2024 season.

The eliminations, which allowed for the selection of candidates for the Surprise of the 2024 Season in the PGE Ekstraliga, have already ended. The pre-selection of candidates (decided by the total number of votes cast by fans on the Facebook profiles of Speedway Ekstraliga and CANAL+ Speedway) selected five candidates.

In other Szczakiele 2024 categories, fans will vote from September 8 on ekstraliga.pl and in the Ekstraliga App, choosing among the TOP-8 riders in terms of average race points after the regular season. In the coach/manager category, fans will vote for the eight coaches/managers of the teams, i.e., all those competing in the PGE Ekstraliga 2024.

Additionally, the following awards will be given in the categories: Race of the Season (chosen by the CANAL+ Speedway Editorial Team), Gold Szczakiel – the Ekstraliga Speedway award, Team of the 2024 Season (DMP 2024), and the winner of the U24 Ekstraliga 2024 competition.
