RED BULL JUNIOR ACES: Review of the 11th round of the PGE Ekstraliga

The eleventh round of the PGE Ekstraliga proved to be a real challenge for the home teams. Three matches ended with the same score – 48:42. Was the competition for points in the Red Bull Junior Aces ranking among the youngest speedway riders equally fierce?

The first Friday meeting took place at the Best Auto Arena in Lublin, where the home team faced KRONO-PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ Czestochowa. The team ORLEN OIL MOTOR throughout the event could not gain a significant advantage over the opponent but ultimately triumphed 48:42. This victory was largely thanks to Wiktor Przyjemski, who scored 10 points, marking his best home track performance and earning the title of Junior of the Match.

In the next match, BETARD SPARTA Wroclaw hosted KS APATOR Torun. The solid performance of Torun’s senior riders secured the team a bonus point in the PGE Ekstraliga table. Once again, Torun’s youth had to acknowledge the superiority of the hosts. The title of Junior of the Match went to Marcel Kowolik, who thanks to this advanced to 6th place in the ranking.

The Lubuskie Land Derby ended with a victory for EBUT.PL STAL Gorzow. The hosts, after a fierce battle with NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Gora, won 48:42 and gained 3 points in the main ranking. The most effective youth was Oskar Paluch, who so far has six Junior of the Match titles.

The most anticipated match of the round, which had crucial significance in the battle for retention, was between FOGO UNIA Leszno and ZOOLESZCZ GKM Grudziądz. Despite being weakened by the absence of Damian Ratajczak, the Leszno team won 47:43, but failed to capture the valuable bonus point. The Junior of the Match was Antoni Mencel, who scored 5 points.
