Rasmus Jensen stays at NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra

Rasmus Jensen stays in Zielona Góra. The Dane, who this week won the German team championship and the Swedish runner-up title, feels great in Zielona Góra and plans to fight with the team for the best results in the PGE Ekstraliga next season. 

The first contract with the team Rasmus signed before the 2023 season. – Initially, I didn’t think seriously about moving to Zielona Góra. However, after thinking it over, I concluded that it was the best solution for me. And today I know it was the right decision. I am very satisfied with what we have achieved so far, but in the new season we are fighting for much more – says the player NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ. 

Rasmus Jensen signed his first contract in Poland in the 2014 season in Gorzów. He was a player for Stal for two years, but in both seasons he was loaned to Polonia Piła. In the 2017 and 2018 seasons, he represented Wanda Kraków. In 2019, he returned for a year to Piła, and since 2020 he has represented the team from Gdańsk. In the 2022 season, he finished his performances in the Polish league with an average of 2.25, the fifth result in the entire competition. 

For the next two years, first in the first league and later in the PGE Ekstraliga, he was a strong point of our team. – Rasmus will be with us for another year and I believe he will again show the fans great speedway. It’s obvious that in every athlete’s life there are worse moments, but Rasmus is a true speedway rider who never gives up. He always fights until the end, and it will be the same in the upcoming season – announces the president of ZKŻ SSA, Wojciech Domagała.
