Quarterfinals are starting! CELLFAST WILKI or INNPRO ROW? (preview #KRORYB)

After the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga regular season ended a week ago, it is time to play the first match of the playoff phase. Initially, CELLFAST WILKI Krosno will face INNPRO ROW Rybnik.
This match has no favorite. Both CELLFAST WILKI and INNPORO ROW have great ambitions, and their preseason goal was to advance to the PGE Ekstraliga. However, in the standings, the team from Rybnik was higher, so the first leg of the quarterfinal will take place in Krosno.
There have been some small changes in both teams’ line-ups. Especially Ireneusz Kwieciński has made some shuffles. Why? – First of all, we don’t want to be entirely predictable, riding against an opponent we recently faced on our home track. It also stems from our observations and post-match analyses. Not everything is working as we would like, hence these changes – says the coach of the Krosno team. INNPRO ROW, on the other hand, recently signed a new player, Paweł Miesiąc. He is expected to compete for a spot in the line-up with Grzegorz Walasek.
In the regular season, the team coached by Antoni Skupień proved to be better, winning the two-legged match 99:81. However, this result might have been slightly skewed due to an injury suffered by the leader of CELLFAST WILKI, Dimitri Berge, in May in Rybnik. This injury sidelined him for part of the season and he only recently returned to his team’s first line-up. In Krosno, where the first quarterfinal match will take place, the result was 47:43 for the home team. Will the situation repeat itself and will INNPRO ROW make up the losses?

Ekstraliga match, i.e., after the end of the second series of starts. The appropriate tab will be available in the Ekstraliga Żużlowa mobile app. The selection of the Rider will end after the 15th race.
After each round of the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga, voting for Rider of the Round will begin on the CANAL+ Speedway Facebook page. In a special post, fans will choose from the winners of individual matches. CANAL+ will also announce who received this title for the given round.
