Mitchell McDiarmid in NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZU squad for the 2025 and 2026 seasons

The talented Australian – Mitchell McDiarmid will continue to be a player for the Zielona Góra team in the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The 16-year-old joined Falubaz Zielona Góra at the end of July 2024. He presented himself very well in the U24 Ekstraliga competition, achieving an average of 2.059 points per race.

– I am very grateful to the club from Zielona Góra for the opportunity to ride in the U24 Ekstraliga competition. I am happy to have ended up here. My stay in Zielona Góra made a huge impression on me. In a short time, I had the opportunity to be at PGE Ekstraliga matches, including a derby match! I am also pleased to have shown myself well in the U24 Ekstraliga competition. I want to continue developing and believe that in Falubaz I will have the best conditions for this. I am currently in Australia, where I am already training and will soon start competing – said Mitchell McDiarmid.

– Mitchell is a young and very ambitious player. We have high hopes for him and give him a chance to develop in our city. I believe that in the 2025 season he will show himself as well as he has so far – said Wojciech Domagała, president of ZKŻ SSA.

– Mitchell spent two months in Zielona Góra, but in that time he managed to excellently present himself not only on the track. He was very hardworking and approached his duties ambitiously. He is a player with great talent who, with proper support, can achieve a lot in speedway. I am glad that he trusted us and signed a two-year contract with our club – said Piotr Protasiewicz, sports director at the Zielona Góra club.
