METALKAS 2. Extra League – Flash (9): Personal changes in Łódź and the long-awaited stadium renovation in Tarnów

The end of 2024 and the first days of the new 2025 year are behind us. They have brought several important announcements from the METALKAS 2. Extra League clubs. We learned about further changes in the coaching staff of teams and a new management structure at the Łódź club.

ARGED MALESA Ostrów Wielkopolski officially confirmed Stanisław Chomski as the coach supporting the team, along with Kamil Brzozowski in leading the first team in the 2025 season.

AUTONA UNIA Tarnów fans received an early New Year’s gift in the form of a decision by the Lesser Poland Voivodeship board to unanimously adopt amendment no. 3 to the voivodeship budget for the renovation of the Speedway Stadium – “Jaskółcze Gniazdo.”

H.SKRZYDLEWSKA ORZEŁ Łódź announced changes in the club’s organizational structure and a new division in the team’s coaching staff. Witold Skrzydlewski remains the owner and president of the board, while new faces include Jakub Zborowski – vice-president of the board and Jan Konikiewicz – managing director. Former coach of KRONO–PLAST WŁÓKNIARZ Częstochowa, Janusz Ślączka, who returns to Łódź after 7 years, joined the coaching staff. He assumed the roles of trainer/manager of the Łódź team, and Maciej Jąder, remaining with the club, was appointed youth coach.

TEXOM STAL Rzeszów joined the 33rd Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Finale, auctioning a jersey signed by the entire team.

The New Year’s wishes from the METALKAS 2. Extra League clubs were also not forgotten.
