Leon Madsen joins NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra
24.09.2024 20:32The blockbuster transfer in the PGE Ekstraliga has become a reality. After seven years, Leon Madsen is leaving Częstochowa and moving to Zielona Góra. The Dane will sign a two-year contract with NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra in November.
– Leon Madsen’s transfer is a significant success for the entire speedway community of Zielona Góra. We are being strengthened by a rider who has guaranteed top-level performance for years. A two-year contract shows that world-class riders not only want to represent our club but also trust us and plan a longer future with us. Leon perfectly fits the profile of our team and will undoubtedly become an important part of it. We quickly reached an agreement, and in November, during the transfer window, Leon will sign a contract with our club covering the 2025 and 2026 seasons said ZKŻ SSA President Wojciech Domagała.
– I am very happy. It’s great to be here. Everyone in the club welcomed me warmly and with open arms. I can’t wait for the matches in Zielona Góra because the atmosphere here is exceptional. NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ is, in my opinion, one of the biggest speedway clubs in the world. Together with President Wojciech Domagała, we had the opportunity to talk earlier, but now we have reached a final agreement. We have big goals and ambitions to achieve them together.
