At 19:00, the penultimate round of the battle for the title of Individual World Champion will begin. Bartosz Zmarzlik is fighting to secure his fifth title of the world’s best speedway rider before the Toruń final. Last year, he didn’t compete in Denmark, and this time in Vojens, last year’s winner, Leon Madsen, will be absent. Broadcast on Eurosport Extra (Max platform).

Last weekend, in Riga, Bartosz Zmarzlik won the competition. The podium also included Fredrik Lindgren and Daniel Bewley, respectively. The rest of the Poles did not manage to advance to the final. The closest was Maciej Janowski, who finished in 5th place. Dominik Kubera took 8th place, while Szymon Woźniak ended the competition in 12th position.

Last year in Vojens, Leon Madsen won, but he will be absent this year. The Dane decided to recover after a fall in the Latvian competition. In 2023, the podium was also completed by Fredrik Lindgren and Jack Holder. Zmarzlik was absent from these competitions as he was disqualified due to non-compliant kevlar in qualifying.

The tournament will also not feature Mikkel Michelsen, who ended this season due to an accident in Riga, after which he sustained numerous injuries requiring surgery.

This time in qualifying, the best was Robert Lambert (13.485), 2nd place went to Max Fricke (13.528), and 3rd place to Daniel Bewley (13.531). The best of the Poles – Bartosz Zmarzlik was fourth with a time of 13.552. Maciej Janowski placed 5th (13.571), Dominik Kubera finished 9th (13.601), and Szymon Woźniak concluded the competition in 14th position (13.677).
