Kubera the best in IMP in Bydgoszcz

Dominik Kubera won the IMP in Bydgoszcz. In the second final of the series, Bartosz Zmarzlik did not make it to the final. Medals will be awarded in Lublin on August 10.

The competition was full of extremely spectacular displays of individual skills, perfectly exemplified by races number 1 and 10. Unexpectedly, in the opening race, the last to the finish line was the leader of ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin, Bartosz Zmarzlik. Phenomenal riding was demonstrated by Maciej Janowski, who managed to snatch second place at the expense of Szymon Wozniak on the last meters of the track. In the tenth race, the fans gathered at the stadium could admire the perseverance of Piotr Pawlicki. The representative of NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra managed to secure the second position in the race only on the second turn of the fourth lap, overtaking the rather defensive Wozniak.

After 20 races, certain of their participation in the final were Dominik Kubera and Maciej Janowski. In the playoff for the two remaining final spots, Patryk Dudek, Bartosz Zmarzlik, Szymon Wozniak, and Bartlomiej Kowalski competed. On the entry into the second turn of the fourth lap, four-time individual world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, who was fighting for second position with Szymon Wozniak, fell. This resulted in his exclusion and elimination from the competition. Ultimately, Dudek and Wozniak joined the aforementioned duo.

In the decisive race of the tournament in Bydgoszcz, Dominik Kubera confidently went for the win from the beginning. A perfect start gave him a safe lead over the rest of the pack, resulting in triumph in the competition. Patryk Dudek and Maciej Janowski fought for the last podium spot until the end. Thanks to a dash on one of the last turns, the representative of KS APATOR Torun came out on top.
