Sebastian Szostak during the SGP 2 tournament, the second round of the individual junior world championships held in Riga, participated in a dangerous-looking fall. It has now turned out that the junior has a spinal injury.

The fall occurred on the first bend of the second semifinal. Szostak was pulled into the path of the nearby Bastian Pedersen, causing both the Pole and the Dane to become more familiar with the track.

Junior ARGED MALESA Ostrowa Wlkp. stood up and returned to the pits on his own strength, but after examinations it became clear that he had sustained a spinal injury. This means we will not see him in the return semifinal against ABRAMCZYK POLONIA Bydgoszcz.
