The postponed match of the thirteenth round of METALKAS 2. Ekstraligi between H.SKRZYDLEWSKA ORZEŁ Łódź and ENERGA WYBRZEŻE Gdańsk ended with a victory for the hosts. The match’s rider for the fourth time this season was Luke Becker.

The match started off well for the Łódź team. Two victories at a ratio of 5:1 allowed them to build a six-point lead after the first series of starts. Then, ENERGA WYBRZEŻE began to make up lost ground. The second series clearly belonged to the Gdańsk team, who won two out of three races. At the halfway point of the event, H.SKRZYDLEWSKA ORZEŁ led by two points.

Then again, the hosts took control, not allowing themselves to be defeated in any of the races up until the fifteenth race. Earlier, there were as many as four ties. In the end, Maciej Jądera’s team won 49:41. The match’s rider was Luke Becker, who scored nine points. However, the best performer of the match was Niels Kristian Iversen – who scored ten points.

For H.SKRZYDLEWSKA ORZEŁ, this was the last test before the play-off phase, where they will face the leader – ARGED MALESA Ostrow Wlkp. ENERGA WYBRZEŻE meanwhile bids farewell to METALKAS 2. Ekstraligi, finishing in eighth – last place in the table.
