Euphoria in Gorzów. EBUT.PL STAL on top in the 104th Derby of the Lubusz Land

Behind us is the 104th edition of the Derby of the Lubusz Land. In it, after a fierce battle, the team NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra had to acknowledge the supremacy of EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów, which won 48:42. The junior of the match was Oskar Paluch, who performed phenomenally that day at Edward Jancarz Stadium.

In the opening race, the hosts showed a good side, winning it 4:2. In the youth race, an atomic start from the outer field was made by Oskar Paluch, thus securing another three points for EBUT.PL STAL. He repeated this in the 4th race when he again shot out from under the tape and got far ahead. After the first series, the team from Gorzów led 15:9. In the following races, the team from Zielona Góra tried to make up for lost points. Their chance to start was also given to Michał Curzytek, who was returning from an injury.

In the 10th race, opening the third series of the event, it was time for the first team victory of the day for players of NOVYHOTEL FALUBAZ Zielona Góra. In it, Piotr Pawlicki, on the exit from the first turn, blocked Martin Vaculik. Behind them, a battle was taking place between Sadurski and Miśkowiak for one point, from which the rider from Zielona Góra emerged victorious.  

The next win did not take long to come. In the 11th race, Przemysław Pawlicki shot out from the start the best. On the third lap, Jarosław Hampel secured one point. Thus, before the nominated races, the team EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów secured a bonus point by leading the match 43:35.

The issue of the win was resolved in the last race of the day. The pair Thomsen – Woźniak carried the score of 4:2 to the finish line, ensuring the Gorzów team victory in another Derby of the Lubusz Land. The competition finally ended with the score 48:42, and EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów added three big points to their account.
