Eliga Manager: the season finale is approaching quickly

Last weekend started a series of decisive clashes in the 2024 season. Every race and point scored could ultimately be worth its weight in gold. It’s exactly the same in the Eliga Manager competition. The overall standings leader remains F I R E S T O N E, who was the first player to exceed the 1200-point mark this season.

All speedway fans have been eagerly awaiting this phase of the season. On late Sunday afternoon, every fan’s eyes were on both clashes in the PGE Ekstraliga, whose final results turned out to be a big surprise for many fans and experts.
Undoubtedly, the huge surprise is the size of the defeat of ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin. This only promises incredible emotions in the rematch, where KS APATOR Toruń will defend a 12-point lead on the road. Translating this into the Eliga Manager competition, any manager having any of the Toruń team leaders in their squad is happy. The recent performances of Paweł Przedpełski, who, despite his low KSM, can boast significant point hauls, are also a very positive surprise. On the Lublin team, only Dominik Kubera performed at his decent level.

The results of the other players can be considered disappointing. The meeting in which EBUT.PL STAL Gorzów hosted BETARD SPARTA Wrocław on their home track was also very interesting. The first series of competitions indicated a commanding victory for the hosts, but the Wrocław team showed character and turned the game around, ultimately winning 44:46. This result brought them very close to competing in the grand final. Definite leaders emerged in both teams. Both Martin Vaculik and Artem Laguta can count the evening as very successful, and any manager having them in their team had reasons to rejoice that day. The biggest positive surprise of this rivalry was the performance of Bartłomiej Kowalski, who disproved the notion that he performs poorly away from home. His 11 points largely decided the victory for BETARD SPARTA Wrocław.
