Damian Ratajczak loaned to STELMET FALUBAZ Zielona Góra

Damian Ratajczak joins the Zielona Góra team. The 19-year-old has joined STELMET FALUBAZ on a one-year loan from FOGO UNIA Leszno, covering all competitions in the 2025 season.

– I’m glad that all formalities with the Leszno club have been settled, and today we can share the news that such an ambitious and hardworking junior is joining us. I am convinced that Damian and Oskar will form a great youth pair, as both are very determined and focused on the goal of winning medals – said the president of the Zielona Góra club, Adam Goliński.

– I want to develop individually here and at the same time help the team in the fight for medals. Until now, I didn’t have such opportunities in the Ekstraliga. I think we all have such aspirations here. Competing for medals is more enjoyable than fighting for league survival, so I believe this will be a very valuable experience for me – emphasized the new player of STELMET FALUBAZ.

Sports director Piotr Protasiewicz evaluates Damian’s skills very highly. – Leszno is a place where many great players have been nurtured. Damian’s achievements so far only confirm that he will continue to develop every year and win more medals – he noted.

Damian Ratajczak prematurely ended the 2024 season due to an injury. During a Danish league match, he suffered a femur fracture, underwent surgery, and is currently rehabilitating and quickly getting back into shape.

– The injury is already history. At the end of the season, I had surgery and almost immediately started rehabilitation. Everything is going according to plan. My thoughts are already on returning to the track and the first motorcycle practices – summarized Ratajczak.
