Another transfer in METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga. Bartosz Smektała joins #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ Poznań

As announced on their social media, #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ Poznań has signed Bartosz Smektała for the 2025 season. The junior world champion of 2018 is leaving his home club FOGO UNIA Leszno, with which he was relegated from PGE Ekstraliga, and where he spent the last two years, and previously another seven years.

Smektała cannot consider this season a success. The speedway rider finished the PGE Ekstraliga competition in 40th place in the ranking, with an average of 1.341 points per race. Additionally, his team, FOGO UNIA, finished in last place, meaning relegation to a lower league, and he himself was not called up for four of his team’s matches.

Now, the individual junior world champion joins his third club in his career, which is #ORZECHOWAOSADA PSŻ Poznań. “Smyku,” welcome to Golęcin, we are happy that you will represent the yellow-black colors – it was stated in the announcement.
