Anders Thomsen on GP Challenge: it will be a big challenge for me

Anders Thomsen has had an excellent competition. The Dane returns to the FIM Speedway Grand Prix as a regular participant after a year-long break. He took 2nd place in Pardubice and did not hide his joy after the competition.

– I am very happy. I can’t wait for my return to the Grand Prix. It will certainly be a big challenge for me. I have to do a lot of work during the winter – said the newly minted participant in the world championship cycle.

Before this season, there was much talk about the Dane being one of the main riders missing in the cycle. However, as he himself emphasized, he was not focused on returning to world championship riding this year, and it was not his main goal for the season.

– Of course I wanted to return, but first and foremost I wanted to enjoy speedway and focus on riding as best as I could, and then see if I was ready for another ride among the best. So far, however, I’m having a very good year and I feel that I belong in the GP and will do everything to stay there as long as possible – concluded Anders Thomsen.
