Few expected such a high victory for ABRAMCZYK POLONIA Bydgoszcz against ARGED MALESA Ostrów Wlkp. Tomasz Bajerski’s team won at home 54:36 and has an eighteen-point advantage before the rematch. The rider of this match was Krzysztof Buczkowski.

The early final, as this match was described, started in favor of the hosts. The Bydgoszcz team won two races in the first series and had already a six-point lead after four races. A small awakening of the Ostrów team occurred in heats six and eight when they defeated their rivals twice 4:2. As it turned out later, those were the only victories for the guests in this match.

The key moment of this match was the fourth series. Then, ABRAMCZYK POLONIA increased the deficit of ARGED MALESA Ostrów from six to sixteen points. A real drama was also experienced by Frederik Jakobsen, who in the eleventh race, riding in second place, had a motorcycle defect just before the finish line and dropped to fourth place.

In the nominated races, Mariusz Staszewski’s riders still couldn’t find the missing link in their performance and didn’t recover anything against Bydgoszcz. The latter, however, further increased their lead by two points, finally winning 54:36.
