A new season of the PGE Ekstraliga and METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga is coming. Times for rounds 1 and 2 are known!

The 2025 season, along with the competitions in the PGE Ekstraliga and METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga, is approaching quickly. The match times for the first two rounds of both league competitions are now known. All matches will be available for fans to watch on CANAL+, ELEVEN SPORTS, and the CANAL+ streaming service.

• The first round of the PGE Ekstraliga is scheduled for April 11 and 13.
• The second round is scheduled for April 19 and 20.
• METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga kicks off the same weekend – April 12 and 13.

METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga matches will take place on the same weekend. The inaugurating competitions are planned for April 12 and 13 in Rzeszów, Łódź, Ostrow Wlkp. and Leszno. The last mentioned city will host a match between the former PGE Ekstraliga team, FOGO UNIA, and the newcomer, AUTONA UNIA Tarnów.

All METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga matches will be broadcast on CANAL+ Sport5 and the CANAL+ streaming service.

In the PGE Ekstraliga, the title will be defended by ORLEN OIL MOTOR Lublin, which won last year’s final against BETARD SPARTA Wrocław. This marked the third consecutive gold medal for the team from Lublin. The newcomer for this year is INNPRO ROW Rybnik, which was promoted from METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga after defeating the team from Bydgoszcz.

Thursday matches in the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga will be played at 19:00.

During Saturdays when FIM Speedway Grand Prix tournaments take place, the schedule in the METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga will be as follows:

• SGP + 1 METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga match (16:30)
• SGP + 2 METALKAS 2. Ekstraliga matches (14:00 and 16:30)
